Right Brain Drawing for Kids / Parents / Educators

Bestselling author, Daniel Pink, persuasively argues that right-brained thinking will dominate and drive the world of the future. "In the conceptual age," Pink writes, "what we need instead is a whole new mind." He describes this new mindset as multidisciplinary. Real world problems do not come at us in boxes labeled Math, Science or English. They come as problems that require all different ways of thinking. What does drawing have to do with creative problem-solving? The Left Brain reduces our view of the world to labels and symbols. But when the Left Brain is unaware of what the Right Brain is doing, then the mind is free to really SEE relationships and to integrate these relationships into a whole. This is what drawing is all about.
